Google Maps APRS: Is a very interesting Google Map that tracks APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) stations. APRS is to report through the use of radio and the Internet small packets of data. The most common type of data is GPS locations and weather station current conditions. If you search N7BU-7 you can see where I'm currently driving. You can also search for DW1905 which is the Marist weather station data. There is also a link to search for all moving objects including ships at sea.
Georgia State Defense Force: The GaSDF is one part of the Georgia Department of Defense along with the Georgia Army and Air National Guards. The GaSDF is an all volunteer force that supports the work of the Guard unit and is in service to the people of the state of Georgia. I'm currently a captain in the GaSDF where I command the COMMO Detachment in the 911th Support Command.
Marist School Weather and Satellite Image Page: The site is a direct link to the Marist School Weather Station and weather satellite images that are received at the Marist Satellite Receiving Station. Each of the NOAA statellites 15, 18 and 19 pass over Atlanta twice a day. The site also contains many weather related maps and links along with links to other satellite receiving stations throughout the world. There is also an Itouch/Ipad app for the weather station by seaching the app store for weatherlink, downloading the app and searching for Marist to add the stations.
